We launched the research-action project Algo->Lit (Developing algorithmic literacy for greater transparency in the EU) on 26 February 2025 in the BeCentral's Boardroom in Brussels (BE).
The cooperatives Datactivist and La Mednum (France) along with the research centres FARI (Brussels) and Waag Futurelab (Amsterdam) invited key inclusion workers and algorithmic transparency advocates to share their knowledge and will to collaborate with us through training programs and tools co-design.
The morning was divided into two round tables: the first was devoted to feedback from digital inclusion workers on their activities in the field of AI and algorithms; the second helped to map public policies on digital inclusion in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as identify the difficulties and opportunities coming with developing inclusion programs on AI and algorithms.
